I actually have come to see that this is theory that I use most often when communicating with people. Being a communications major, a student understand that people are products of their environment including; the people that they are raised by, the people they go to school with, are friends with, the communities that they are in and the hobbies such as sports or camping that they are interested in. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA which is definitely a melting pot of different ideas and cultures. Because I chose this major, I have also learned that no persons views, even if they are different from my own are wrong. I use this theory a lot of times.
